The Spicy Meatball, a small family food services company, was created to provide locally-sourced ingredients to our community and support the start-up of food outreach programs in the central valley. Founder, Chef Crystal Vasquez has been a local certified chef in Fresno, CA for 13 years. She has worked in and managed many kitchens throughout the city gaining skills in my different cuisine types. She can prepare pretty much any popular dish from cuisines around the world. Chef Crystal is passionate about helping community and feeding people. She volunteers in many ways throughout the Fresno. She has run kitchens that fed the valley’s headstart and senior meals programs and led teams that fed the homeless. She plans to use The Spicy Meatball as a way to start her dream business that will help heal food deserts in The Central Valley’s most at need communities.
Our mobile food pop-up menu features a wide variety of dishes selected from our catering menu. All dishes are made with fresh ingredients and our chef makes all our recipes from scratch. She even uses her special recipe to create the mix for her hand formed meatballs, that come in mild and spicy meatballs. You can also try our chef’s farm-to-table soups and salads when you visit her at farmer‘s markets all over the Fresno area.
Our Chef can also personalize a off-the-menu meal package you desire for event caterings, meal prep, or dinner packages for the family. We make want to sure that there is something for everyone at The Spicy Meatball!
